What is a Micro-Wedding?
A Micro-Wedding is any ceremony and/or reception with less than fifty (50) total guests in attendance. Couples often combine an elopement and a reception to create their #micro-wedding experience but have the option of doing both with a smaller party. Some married couples even choose to do a micro-wedding for their anniversary or vow renewal.
I am excited about joining a team of wedding professionals that will assist couples with their weddings, as soon as the DMV area allows events to take place. The execution of a traditional wedding has been a challenge during this global pandemic. Local couples are opting to shift their plans for a DC Micro-Wedding, instead of a postponement or cancellation. Their celebrations will have the nuances of a traditional wedding, just on a smaller scale. As a DC wedding stationer, I am able to assist couples with digital invitations (as shown below) as an option to get the word out quickly. The wedding celebration can be streamed live, allowing the couple's family and friends to be a part of the day and affords the couple the opportunity to have a sense of normalcy in this difficult time.
If you are a couple or know a couple who want to get married now, sign up for our #DCMicrowedding experience.
